  • Avoid hot, sweaty exercise for one week
  • Avoid direct sun exposure for tanning for 4 weeks after the procedure. Wear a hat when outdoors
  • Avoid heavy sweating and long hot showers for the first 10 days
  • Avoid sleeping on your face for the first 10 days
  • Avoid swimming, spa, sauna or steam room for the first 10 days
  • Avoid topical makeup including sunscreen on the area
  • DO NOT rub, pick or scratch the treated area

Important note about showering:

Limit your shower to 5 minutes to avoid steam as much as possible. Keep your face / procedure area out of the water while you wash your body, at the end of the shower wash your hair. Your face or procedure area should only be getting wet at the very end of the shower. Avoid excessive rinsing and hot water on the treated area.

Before your cosmetic tattoo:

In order to avoid excessive bleeding and poor colour deposit:

After your cosmetic tattoo:

Day 1-7:
Gently wash your treated area each morning and night with water and a PH balanced cleanser provided. With a very light touch, use your fingertips to gently cleanse and affected area. Rub the area in a smooth motion for 10 seconds and rinse with water ensuring that all cleanser is rinsed off. To dry, gently pat with a clean dry tissue. DO NOT use any cleansing products containing acids (lactic, AHA or any exfoliants.
Apply a rice grain amount of cream that is provided to you in your aftercare kit with a clean cotton tip across the treated area. Be sure not to over apply the cream as you could suffocate the skin and delay healing. Never put ointment on wet or damp skin.
